Jennay’s Fried Tators

Quick and simple…that’s how I like my recipes!  I’m picky about my food…so keep that in mind.  I love the taste of onions, but I don’t like to eat them.  So for this Fried Tator recipe…I use onion powder to give the onion flavor I want.

Jennay’s Fried Tators Recipe

You will need:

3-4 small cooking potatoes
vegetable oil
pure ground black pepper
kosher salt
onion powder
Bojangle’s French Fry Seasoning

Scrub and wash potatoes then cut up into thick chunks.  Pour a generous amount of vegetable oil in skillet and place on burner medium-high.  Add potatoes to skillet and season with black pepper, kosher salt, onion powder, and Bojangle’s french fry seasoning.  Stir occasionally while cooking.  After about 5 minutes, place lid on skillet and let cook for an additional 12-15mins, occasionally stirring.  Don’t stir up to much, this will mash up the tators into little pieces.  Season as needed, I usually add more Bojangle’s seasoning.  Drain tators on paper towels and serve.

This makes enough for about 4-5 servings of potatoes.
