Jennay’s Thick & Fudgy Brownies


1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup sugar

1 tsp pure vanilla extract

2 eggs

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

1 bag of chocolate chips (I usually use dark chocoalte or white chocolate chips)

1/2 cup pecans or walnuts if desired


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Grease a 9 X 9-inch pan and set aside.

Mix together oil, sugar, and vanilla.

Beat in eggs, one at a time.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

Stir into egg mixture.

Add chocolate chips and nuts to mixture and stir until well combined.

Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 25 mins.

**I make 2 batches at a time and use a 9 X 13-inch pan-makes the brownies thicker and more fudgy.*
