    • Thank you! I’m looking forward to keeping up with your posts! I’m enjoying looking back on your older posts, love the sunset gold and your black and white rose!!

  1. I, too, adore the fall and all things related to fall (pumpkin lattes at Starbucks for instance) and designing and decorating…. plus many other things you like! Thanks for following my blog…… I think I will have fun following yours! 🙂

  2. Hi. Just stopped by to say thank you for following my blog. You have SO many departments to your site, and they are all interesting. I love North Carolina. In fact, I love the whole southeast section of this country. I’m particularly partial to the Smoky Mountains. A few years ago, I passed up an opportunity to take a job in Bryson City, NC, and I’ve never stopped kicking myself. I was just down there about three weeks ago, and felt the misery of making that decision again. But I did enjoy my time there just the same.

    • Thanks for following me back! It’s beautiful state…I enjoy it so much! Looking forward to following your blog! I love the mountains here…especially the Blue Ridge Parkway…Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad…and we have some awesome state parks! Never a dull moment.

  3. Thanks for being a new follower of my blog. I thought I’d check out yours –you have some gorgeous pictures. The cemetery pics for Veteran’s Day remind me of our yearly trip to D.C. and Arlington. Looking forward to reading and seeing more!!

    • Thanks so much for following my blog and for nominating me for the Sisterly Love Award!! =)
You made my day! I really started this blog just for myself-a way to keep up with my projects, recipes, photography, etc., and I’m amazed at how fast it has drawn attention! Thank YOU for following along on my journey! I’m so glad you enjoy it!

Hello, there! Thanks for visiting and “following” my blog. I hope that it interested you as much as your blog is interesting me 🙂 You have quite the variety of posts and interests (much like me). Keep having fun!

  5. It’s very nice to meet you. And fall is becoming my favorite time of year. Not sure what’s so special about it, but I feel so happy and at peace with fall.

  6. You are a very good photographer. Did you take any classes? I have a question, how do you make you picture this big on wordpress? All my inserted pictures are like thumbnail size now in wordpress, although it’s normal big size like your if inserted into regular word doc.

Thanks for visiting and following up with me. Looks like we have a lot in common. Will check on more of your pics later. Have a good one

    • Hey there! Thanks for following and commenting on my blog posts! I have self-taught myself how to use my Canon PowerShot! The blog layout that I’m using lets my photos be as wide as the blog itself…I suggest changing up your layout and finding one that allows bigger images! I am enjoying catching up on your posts as well! =)

  7. Thank you so much for stopping by! I will stroll around…saw you have animals and love about much the same things as I do too! Great photos the ones I’ve seen so far. I’m also an amateur photographer but loves to learn more.

I followed a link from Pinterest to your recipe for peanut butter fudge. It sounds like the one my grandmother used to make. I cannot wait to try it! It led me to read your bio. Maybe because we’re both Carolina girls, (I’m in Hendersonville) it felt like I was reading about a family member. You have a nice, relaxed writing style. Thanks for sharing your recipes and experiences. I have bookmarked your page, and look forward to reading about your future adventures.

    • Hey Miranda! So glad you were brought to my blog via Pinterest! The fudge is to die for! It was passed down to me by my boyfriend’s parents and it’s so delicious. Please let me know when you make it and let me know if I can be of any help! I’m glad to know you are a Carolina girl as well!! I hope we can stay in touch! I love meeting people in my home state! My blog is getting a little makeover right now…but I hope to be back to blogging everyday in the next few weeks! Working on getting some posts planned as we speak! Thanks for your kind words and I do hope you stick around! =)

  11. Hello!
Thank you for following my blog. I know how many interesting blogs are out there and feel honored that you picked mine to follow. I hope my stories entertain and inform and my photos bring you joy and wonderment.
I travel mostly local but try to always find interesting places. I have lived in several different places and dig through my archives of photos to bring glimpses into places I have been. Sometimes I post a recipe because food tells a lot about culture.
I am not a professional photographer, so my photos are sometimes a little fuzzy and there are telephone poles and wires and other things along with what I was photographing. The older photos are 35mm, the newer are point and shoot digital and a few are Samsung Smartphone.
I am new to blogging so if you have any advice or critique please drop me a comment.
Thank you again for following and to quote Mark Twain: “Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness.” – Mark Twain

  12. Hi Jennay! My name is Cameron Von St. James and I had a quick question for you! I was wondering if you could email me at your earliest convenience at cvonstjames AT gmail DOT com 🙂 I greatly appreciate your time!!
