I had every intention on putting some blog posts together last week, but you know…
life got in the way.
So here we are on Sunday night and I’m behind on 2 product reviews which I’ll be working on overnight (pulling an all-nighter) and I also have lots of new fun stuff lined up for Fall.
I wanted to share with you a few more products that I’ve been crushing on this summer. I know summer is at a close, but I just had to key you in on these awesome products!
1. Not Your Mother’s Beach Babe Texturizing Sea Salt Spray
I picked this up at CVS Pharmacy one day. I had heard great things about the Not Your Mother’s brand and wanted to try some of their products out. I picked the sea salt spray because in the summer I always let my hair air dry and needed something to bring my curls out. I already have naturally wavy hair so this addition just gave me more tousled waves. I love the fact that this product is infused with natural dead sea salt and sea kelp.
2. Olay’s Fresh Effects Shine, Shine Go Away Minimizing Cleanser & Everything Off Deluxe Make-Up Removal Wet Cloths
I received these two products for free over the summer and I enjoyed them so much. I don’t normally have oily or shiny skin-however in the summer it does happen. The Shine, Shine Go Away cleanser really left my skin feeling clean and the light floral scent was perfect! The Everything Off Make-Up Removal Wet Cloths were very convenient to keep in my purse for anytime I needed to refresh my face. I loved the scent of honeysuckle and white tea.
3. Joy & Karma’s Hyaluronic Acid Serum & Vitamin C Serum
Joy & Karma e-mailed me to see if I would like to test out their Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Vitamin C Serum. I was skeptical at first because I’ve never used either of those products on my face and to be honest the word Acid scared me! I just couldn’t imagine putting it on my face! I learned that Joy & Karma’s products are 98% natural and 72% Organic and decided to try them out. After using them daily for a whole month and a half I’ve noticed my skin feels more moisturized and is softer and brighter and I’ve had less break-outs. I simply washed my face and applied both the serums daily before applying my make-up.
4. L’Oreal Nail Color in Because You’re Worth It (580)
I found this on sale at CVS Pharmacy and I fell in love with the sparkly gold color. I don’t usually pick glitter nail colors but I wanted something sparkly for this summer and this shade is perfect. I kept it on my toes almost all summer.
5. Milani Brow Fix Brow Shaping Kit in 02 Medium
I love this brow shaping kit! It comes with a hi-lite powder to define the arches, and then two brow powders to blend and fill in your brow. It also comes with a mini tweezer, mini brow brush, and mini sponge applicator.
6. L.A. Colors 30 Color Eyeshadow Palette-In the Moment
Summer is all about bright colors and this palette does not dissapoint! 30 lovely colors to choose from in this bright and colorful palette. Choose from a variety of matte and shimmer shades.
7. Mary Kay’s Lash Primer & Lash Love Mascara in I ❤ Black
I received these two from Freefly’s courtesy of Mary Kay. I’ve always been a fan of Mary Kay products and I have to tell you the Lash Primer is a must have! I use it everyday prior to putting on my mascara and it is just amazing!
8. Mary Kay’s Jelly Lip Gloss in Crushed Plum
I received this gloss from a friend. I love the shade of the crushed plum and of course I’m a lipgloss addict so it was a perfect gift for me! You will normally catch me wearing gloss over lipstick.
