A Word A Week Photo Challenge: Garden

I’m behind on the photo challenges, but slowly trying to catch up…

Sue’s A Word A Week Photo Challenge:

GARDEN

Click on the link here to get the 411 and join in on this challenge with us!

Below are my entries for this week’s challenge:

These photos are all from the lovely Reynolda Gardens in Winston-Salem, NC.

This spectacular oasis of woodlands, fields, wetlands and formal gardens was once part of the R.J. Reynolds estate. The greenhouse and conservatory contain educational displays of tropical and succulent plants and an extensive orchid collection. The gardens and grounds are open year-round during daylight hours.

You can find them on Facebook here, and don’t forget to visit them here as well!

If you have a chance to visit, please do!  Also, stop by the Reynolda House Museum of American Art while you are there…a self-guided antenna audio tour of the Reynolda mansion is a fun and historical way to spend your day!

    • Thanks! I’m working on that one next…will be a harder challenge for me since I’m more apt to taking nature photos, but we will see what I come up with! I love a challenge!
