  1. Before moving to Oregon I lived in South Carolina across the river from Augusta, Georgia. I seriously love peaches from that area. People in Oregon don’t know what real peaches look like. Freestone peaches that arrive on the 4th of July are the size of grapefruit and can be de-pitted in seconds to reveal firm, sweet, juicy peaches. Boy do I miss peaches. The same can be said of beefsteak tomatoes. I saw a flat of so called beefsteak tomatoes at Costco yesterday and laughed. “Those aren’t tomatoes”, I said. Beefsteak tomatoes in South Carolina are the diameter of a teacup saucer. Things grow bigger when you have sunshine 10 months of the year. Here we take vitamin D supplements all all look peaked. :)

  2. That’s fare to early for spring …. or????? What a stunning gallery again – you are good on doing them. The close up on your dog is very cute and all the small hungry birds – lovely photos.

    • Well it felt like spring here last week….sunny and warm, now today it’s snowing…lol. I think mother nature can’t make up her mind! =) Thanks for your sweet comment!!

      • Nature is going to be all messed up if the spring comes to early – then it gets cold and all birds eggs and flowers will freeze. So sad. Can’t believe that the peach tree is blooming – our apple tree will not bloom for another 10 weeks. Lovely to see the spring. Thanks
