I’m all for saving money and I will admit I frequently visit the Dollar Tree Store.
They have a variety of things to choose from:
seasonal decorations
craft stuff
school supplies
cards
gift bags/ribbons
plastic cutlery
…just to name a few that I stock up on from time to time!
You can not beat the $1 deal!
Today I’m going to share 2 items with you that I buy there on a regular basis…
These products are really helpful to me in the kitchen and I use them just about everyday.
First up-
Reynolds Wrappers {25 foil sheets that are 14 in x 10 1/4 in} for $1.00!
I really think this is a great deal! Where can you get 25 pieces of Reynolds Wrappers for $1?
These are pre-cut pop-up foil sheets that are just the right size to store leftovers in.
No cutting, no tearing….just simply pull the sheet out and you are ready to use it!
I always end up cutting myself when I try to use the roll and they never come out to be even no matter what I try…so this is a product made just for me!
You can see how big the wrapper is by the photo above!
As you can see….you can easily fit 4 sticks of butter in the wrap and be able to wrap it up with no problem.
Tonight we had leftover cornbread from our dinner. {We had bean soup to go with it!! Yum!}
I usually pack Noah’s lunch/dinner or whatever you would call it {he works 3rd shift} so this product came in really handy to wrap up the cornbread!
Sneak peek at the Cornbread we make…it’s so good!! Recipe coming up on the blog soon!
I was able to fit the leftovers in 2 of these wrappers.
You might want to go now and stock up on these!
I have at least 2 boxes on hand and like to keep it that way.
Next up-
Stor It Cover-Ups {20 covers in all: 5 small-8.5 in, 8 med-14 in, 7 large-16.5 in cover-ups} for $1.00!
These are perfect to cover bowls of leftovers placed in the fridge!
I like the variety of sizes that comes in the package.
Whether it’s a garden party, beach party, backyard barbeque, church function, potluck, or business team-building event, cover-ups are essential for keeping food sanitary and fresh, plus they’re disposable or washable for reuse.
I used them tonight to cover up the remaining bean soup so that I could store it in the fridge for leftovers tomorrow.
I also used them when I was preparing the icing for decorating the sugar cookies for Valentine’s Day.
This came in pretty handy. I needed to cover up the smashed up red hots and set aside until the frosting was ready.
I’ll share where I got the Red Hot Buttercream Icing with you guys tomorrow on the blog….believe me…it’s unreal!
I have a thing with leaving food out in the open…I can’t stand for anything to be laying around for longer than a few seconds without being covered up.
So here I go covering it all up….
Do you have any great finds that you have come across at the Dollar Tree?
Share with me!
We all could benefit by saving money in every way we can.

Never seen the wrappers … but I’m a proud owner of the cover ups. *smile
