I’m a big fan of Bento Lunches.
I get my ideas from this blog.
Since I’m trying to eat healthier this year, I’m going to try to share at least one meal a day that I consume with you guys.
For breakfast this morning I had a bowl of cornflakes with 1/2 of a banana cut up and mixed in the cereal.
And for lunch today:
Today’s lunch includes:
1/2 can of tuna in water-drained (a small amount of mayo, dash of salt and pepper)
1 celery stick with peanut butter
1/2 of a cutie
1/2 of a carrot
and 1/2 of a apple
1 bottled H20 (not pictured)
Yummy…and very filling!
This actually was still too much for me to eat! I put away some of the cuties, carrots, and apples for a late night snack.
The last 6 months of watching my portion sizes and eating healthier has already paid off.
I am getting fuller faster and my clothes are getting loose!
I can’t wait to see how much weight I’ve lost since I started.
I’ve made a deal with myself not to weigh every single day or every single week…I’m just focusing on eating healthier meals and snacks and exercising more.
The results will show in time and I’m excited to already see a big difference!
What did you eat for lunch?

Looks delicious. Just the right way to do it, not look at the weight, but at the basket in the grocery store. Have a beautiful day
Thank you!! It was delicious and I got full very fast!! Hope you have a wonderful day as well!! =)
Now there’s something I could eat as a diabetic. In fact if looks quite good. I did lunch at Olive Garden with a friend yesterday and enjoyed their soup & salad special. It is possible to eat well & enjoy what you eat. Thanks for posting. – Bob
=) I knew you would like this post! I love Olive Garden’s soup and salad! You are right-you can eat well and enjoy it! Stay tuned for tomorrow’s post I will have some diabetic approved sweets in my new Sweet Treat’s post! I thought of you when I created the post earlier this week!
Wow, you thought of me eating healthy. Now that’s a compliment. I just invited a friend out to lunch Friday. We’re going to Don Chilitos Mexican Grill, a local place that has 100% authentic Mexican food. It meets my 3 requirements for a great restaurant, good food, good price & good portions.
That sounds yummy! I love Mexican food! Yeah…I told you I was going to incorporate some healthier “sweets” in my upcoming posts! Something for everyone! =) Besides, it helps me out too!
